ACCOMMODATION RULES – KÚRIA BECKOV PENZIÓN***

(hereinafter referred to as the “operator”) and applies to the provision of accommodation and related services (hereinafter referred to as the “services”) in the accommodation facility KÚRIA BECKOV PENZIÓN*** (hereinafter referred to as the “hotel”) and regulates the rights and obligations of the operator and guests accommodated in the hotel (hereinafter referred to as the “customer” or “customers”) from the moment the customer enters the hotel until the end of his stay.
Only a guest who creates an online reservation and properly fulfills the obligations of this reservation may be accommodated in the accommodation facility KÚRIA BECKOV PENZIÓN***. For this purpose, he fills in his personal identity document, ID card, valid passport or other identity document during the online check-in process. After paying the reservation price and completing the online check-in, the guest will receive information electronically on the day of arrival for their reservation with the room number and PIN code for the room. For accommodation and other services, the guest is obliged to pay the prices agreed in advance when making the online reservation. The bill is due immediately.
These accommodation rules are an integral part of the accommodation contract pursuant to Section 754 et seq. of Act No. 40/1964 Coll. of the Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Civil Code”), which is concluded between the customer and the operator. The accommodation rules are published on the hotel website www.kuriabeckov.sk and placed at the hotel reception. Before starting to stay and using the hotel services, the customer confirms that he has been familiar with these accommodation rules and undertakes to comply with them.
The hotel reception uses a self-service / automatic reception without the presence of reception staff during operating hours from 7:00 to 22:00. Before the guest's arrival and after fulfilling the basic conditions of the reservation (payment of the reservation and completion of the online check-in), the guest will be electronically sent the self-service accommodation manual as well as information on parking and bicycle storage if necessary. The guest can read the terms of accommodation and provision of services, hotel room equipment, basic orientation and safety information about the hotel, conditions for parking motor vehicles, storage of sports equipment and the like on the hotel website www.kuriabeckov.sk or in automatically sent email campaigns.
Use of the hotel is permitted only to persons who are not affected by infectious diseases. The hotel has the right to refuse to accommodate a customer with a contagious disease, parasitic infection or other disease that could pose a health risk to the operator's employees or other hotel customers.
Guests' accommodation in the hotel on the day of arrival for the stay in accordance with the reservation is from 3:00 p.m. (check-in), unless the operator has specified a different time of arrival for the stay and the conditions (including price) for early check-in (before 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival for the stay) (early check-in) in the reservation confirmation. In the event that the customer does not arrive for the stay by 4:00 a.m. at the latest without prior notification to the operator of a later arrival for the stay, the operator is entitled to provide the room/rooms reserved by the customer to other customers for use. The customer does not have the right to a refund of the price of the stay paid by him, or to any other financial or non-financial compensation or substitute performance or compensation for damage. In special cases, the hotel may offer the guest accommodation other than the agreed one, unless it differs significantly from the already confirmed order.
The hotel provides its guests with services to the extent determined by these Accommodation Rules, Business Terms and Conditions and the specification of the individual service provided to the guest before concluding the accommodation contract.
When entering the hotel room, the customer, in his own interest, checks the condition of the hotel room and individual facilities and their functionality and any defects or deficiencies immediately electronically reports them to the hotel's online reception at the email address recepcia@kuriabeckov.sk. The guest uses the room for the period agreed with the hotel upon arrival in his reservation.
The hotel hall and reception areas are intended for receiving visits from customers accommodated in the hotel. The customer may receive visitors in the hotel room only with the consent and after informing the online reception at the email address recepcia@kuriabeckov.sk and only between 8:00 and 22:00.
The guest shall check out of the stay no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure, and shall vacate the room at the same time. If the guest does not do so by the specified time, the hotel may charge him for the stay on the following day. Late check out – if interested in a later check-out, please contact our online hotel reception. The fee for a late check-out after 10:00 a.m. is €25/room and after 12:00 p.m. it is 100% of the price of the new reservation. However, this option cannot be guaranteed in advance, as it depends on the real situation on the day of the guest's departure, i.e. the hotel's occupancy and the time of cleaning the rooms before the arrival of new guests.
The guest may not move equipment in the hotel room or on the hotel premises without the consent of the hotel management, carry out repairs or make any interventions in the electrical network or other installation.
Hotel employees may enter rooms for the purpose of cleaning the room, replenishing room accessories, if it is necessary to eliminate a malfunction, or to provide medical assistance, or in the event of suspicion of a violation of the accommodation rules or a serious threat to the property of the hotel or other customers or a threat to the life or health of persons. Guests are not allowed to use their own electrical appliances in the hotel premises, especially in the rooms, with the exception of electrical appliances used for the guest's personal hygiene (razors, massagers, hair dryers, etc.). When leaving the room, the guest is obliged to close the water taps, turn off the electric lighting and other appliances in the room and adjacent areas (radio, television, refrigerator, etc.) and close the door. After the end of the stay, on the day of departure, the customer is obliged to leave the hotel room in the condition in which he received it at the beginning of the stay. In the event of damage or changes to the condition of the hotel room, the customer is obliged to restore the hotel room to its original condition at their own expense before the end of their stay, otherwise they are obliged to reimburse the operator for all costs of restoring the room to its original condition.
For safety reasons, it is not permitted to leave children under 10 years of age without adult supervision in the room and other public areas of the hotel.
Guests are not allowed to take sports equipment and items for which a place is reserved for storage to the room. Accommodation with animals is prohibited.
Guests can store valuables in safes located in each room.
Quiet hours in the hotel are from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. During quiet hours, guests may not disturb other customers. Loud television, loud talking, singing, loud conversations in the hotel corridors, on the hotel terrace, etc. are not appropriate.
The hotel has a fire code posted in a visible place – guests are obliged to follow it during their stay.
Smoking is only allowed in designated areas of the hotel. There is a strict no smoking policy in hotel rooms and public areas of the hotel. The hotel is entitled to charge €100 for violating this policy. The smoking ban also applies to so-called electronic cigarettes and other similar products that are used for smoking, even if they do not contain tobacco. There are designated areas for smokers where smoking is allowed – the areas in front of the reception with a standing ashtray, the terrace of the guesthouse and the areas in front of the Pub.
Complaints Procedure – information on the conditions and method of exercising rights from the operator's liability for defects (hereinafter referred to as "complaint"), including information on where a complaint can be made and the procedure for making a complaint about the services provided in the hotel, are regulated in the Hotel's Complaints Procedure, which is published on the hotel's website www.kuriabeckov.sk and available at the hotel reception.
The hotel operator is liable for damage incurred by the customer during their stay in the hotel in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Civil Code and other generally binding legal regulations valid and effective in the territory of the Slovak Republic.
The operator is not liable for jewelry, money and other valuables brought or documented within one stay into the hotel premises. For this purpose, placing jewelry, money and other valuables in a safe or locker in a hotel room is not considered safekeeping.
The customer is obliged to exercise claims from the operator's liability for damage within the time limits and in the manner established by the relevant provisions of the Civil Code and other generally binding legal regulations valid and effective in the territory of the Slovak Republic. Forgotten belongings of guests in the hotel are registered and stored for a period of 1 month. The hotel will deliver forgotten belongings to the customer only on the basis of his request delivered to the hotel in writing or electronically to the email recepcia@kuriabeckov.sk with a precisely specified postal address within the specified time limit at the customer's expense up to a weight of 10kg.
The customer is liable for damage caused by him or the persons for whom he is responsible to the property of the operator and/or the hotel, as well as to the life, property or health of the operator's employees or other customers. The customer is obliged to compensate the injured party (operator or customer or employee) for such damage in accordance with the relevant generally binding legal regulations.
The hotel premises may only be accessed by motor vehicles on access roads and vehicles may only be parked in designated parking spaces for accommodated guests. The hotel's parking areas are not guarded and the accommodation price does not include guarding the motor vehicle of the accommodated guest parked in the hotel's parking lot, or any other method of its protection.
The hotel's online reception accepts guest complaints and any suggestions for improving the hotel's activities by emailing recepcia@kuriabeckov.sk
The accommodated guest is obliged to comply with the provisions of the accommodation rules. In the event of a gross violation, the hotel, pursuant to § 759 para. 2 of the Civil Code may withdraw from the accommodation service contract before the agreed time expires.
These accommodation regulations come into force and effect on 01.01.2026.
